Bare to Be Bifferent
Was talking with a friend the other day about what I do.
I always keep it simple unless
asked a probing question.
"I help people get noticed."
At its most fundamental level, this is what I do.
I believe everyone wears
an invisible shirt that says, "I wanna be noticed."
No better place to see an example
of this than the - unreality - shows like,
American Idol.
I have found the people that I do
business with are owners who want
to stand out in a BIG way, a colorful colossal way.
How do you get noticed with your marketing?
Well, the best way to get noticed
is to blend in with the competition
so you are like a chameleon
who only peaks her head out whenever
there is a promo to do and wonders
why no one responds.
Jokin! I get carried away with sarcasm at times.
Your promotion starts from
the moment your prospect hits your
site from the first time.
Your site must jump off the page
to pull your prospect into your world.
The world of your business.
One of the many facets to standing out in
marketing is using AdToons as the welcome mat
to invite your visitors in.
I've written extensively about this
in my book the Art of Selling Using Cartoons.

Pick up a copy and begin marketing
with a little more Shazaam and Kablaam
on your websites.
At a high level, a good example of what I'm talking
about in everyday marketing ... its the reason why Geico is kicking
Progressives butt in the world of insurance.
The Geico Gecko is far more cool and suave
than Flo. The Gecko happens to be a fake cartoon.
Yes, I know. Hard to believe with all the personality
the little guy has.
There is a reason Marvel comics is
one of the most popular downloaded apps on iTunes...
half of component is rich in visual imagery.
And no, this doesnt just appeal to teenagers alone.
Now if what I've shared appeals to you...and your
business needs a BOOST. Let me figure out how we can add a little flair
to your marketing, just like I did for this previously
boring Medical Waste website.
